Having consulted with several builders and architects we were struck with D B Joinery’s knowledge, enthusiasm and ideas from the outset. they guided us through every step of the project, discussing design ideas, working with the architect to ensure a trouble free planning application, after which they began to work on a large extension within the time scale quoted.
Throughout the build everything was coordinated faultlessly, keeping us updated as the job progressed. the workmanship was first class and all the tradesmen were first class , after the the purchase of our home this extension was our second biggest spend and we always felt totally confident that we had entrusted the job to the right contractor. DB Joinery built a two storey extension to the rear of our early 20th Century property. They provide a professional and reliable service throughout the build. The job ran smoothly from start to finish, the subcontractors were managed effectively and the site was kept clean and tidy.
Darren liaised with us during the job taking pride in his work and suggesting solutions to problems as work progressed. He was happy to re-instate period features in order to help maintain the character of the property and was quick and unruffled when dealing with unforeseen problems with the drainage.
We are more than happy with the quality of the workmanship and the service we received from DB Joinery and would have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

DB Joinery were recommended to us by a friend and colleague for whom they had done a large three sided extension. From the beginning they were attentive and punctual, the estimate came in bang on the money for what we expected to pay and the work was within the realistic timescales they had set.
Throughout our project we were kept up to date, supplying us with a range of options that could be put in place, after the changes we made to our original plans based on there advice the end result exceeded our expectations . During the whole of the build Darren maintained fantastic customer service and even came back out at 8.30pm one evening to discuss a query.
We have a very young family and were concerned about employing hairy builders around the kids however all the DB Joinery staff and contactors were friendly, polite and it was enjoyable having them around the house, our concerns with having building works carried out on our property whilst we were living on site were short lived , at all times our home was treated with the upmost respect , kept clean tidy and secure through out the whole project.
We are absolutely delighted with the work that D B joinery has done for us, the attention to detail and quality of workmanship is reflected throughout the work they have done for us.

Darren was recommended to us after doing a major renovation to a neighbor’s house. Everything that was said about Darren was true. His price was realistic and he delivered to that price despite complications that arose with what was a complicated extension.
From the beginning Darren took time to discuss aspects of the build and kept us informed throughout. Using his considerable experience, Darren made a number of important suggestions which have enhanced the finished building without at any stage imposing his ideas on us. For example, the addition of a Velux window at the front of the house, which was not on the original plans, was entirely Darren’s idea.
The quality of Darren’s workmanship was evident at all aspects of the build. This was true of his personal workmanship, as well as the standards he demanded from his team of sub contractors. In this respect his skills as a project manager were excellent. Darren has a wide range of contacts, which he has built up over the years which we were able to access.
Once work began there was someone on site every day. They were punctual and left the site clean and tidy. The whole team that worked on the project were courteous and well mannered. We are absolutely delighted with the finished build and friends and family are equally impressed. We have had no hesitation in recommending DB Joinery when asked the inevitable question, “Would you recommend your builder”

D B Joinery converted my bungalow’s double garage into the most beautiful ensuite bedroom, with large windows and patio doors leading to the garden. The work was carried out so efficiently and without the upheaval I had imagined. Darren organised all the operation so I could relax with peace of mind knowing it was being done to the highest standard.
Since the conversion I have employed D B Joinery again and again and my next job for Darren is a new porch. I recommend them and thank them for doing such a good job.
